The ROC plots introduced you to one of the many tools in the MLX package for doing graphical analysis. In many cases, this is the fastest, most convenient way to analyze your data. Humans are invariably good at identifying patters in data as long as we have a succinct way of summarizing that data. The graphical tools provide us with this summarization.
